Golden Retriever Puppies

 

In the mid-nineteenth century, yellow wavy-coated dogs and Tweed Water Spaniels were used in the border region of Scotland. Lord Tweedmouth combined dogs of both breeds to create the Golden Retriever, recognized by Kennel Club in 1913.

Height range 20-24 in (51-61cm)

 

Weight range 55-75lb (25-34Kg)

Character kindly expression with a temperament to match. Good purpose gundog and family pet.

 

Exercise plenty of exercise to keep this dog fit, happy and in good shape.

 

Grooming regular brushing.

 

Feeding at least 1 1/2 can (400g size) of a branded meaty product, with kibbles added in equal parts by volume.

 

Temperament tendencies This breed has the reputation of being the ideal family pet. However, the breed is quite different in the working and show worlds and you must choose whether you prefer the more active, athletic type or the calmer, heavier show specimens.
